Squaw Valley Golf Course, U.S. 67, Glen Rose, Texas 76043, USA
Squaw Valley is located in Glen Rose, Texas just 60 miles southwest of the DFW Metroplex. We are home to 36 holes of championship golf, and are consistently rated as one of the top courses in the state, including a 4 1/2 star rating from Golf Digest Magazine. We are also home to the #1 and #4 municipal courses in Texas as ranked by The Dallas Morning News. Perfect for a day trip or even better for a weekend getaway, Squaw Valley features beautiful vistas of century old Oak trees and Squaw Creek that meanders through both courses. Our professional, courteous staff, and laid back atmosphere will make your visit one to remember. We are open seven days a week and tee times are accepted five days in advance.
Established in 1992, the original 18 holes, designed by Jeff Brauer and remodeled by John Colligan in 2008, features Miniverde greens and 419 Bermuda tees, fairways, and roughs. Comanche Lakes, designed by John Colligan and opened in 2001, features Tifeagle greens and Tifsport tees, fairways, and roughs. Both courses feature large yet challenging greens. Wide fairways allow for a “grip it and rip attitude” and the occasional errant tee shot allows for a chance at par. Located on property is a large driving range as well as two large putting greens and a chipping green to help improve your game. Any level of golfer can enjoy Squaw Valley.
Also located on property is The Rooster Bar and Grill. The Rooster is a full service restaurant with normal golf course food and drink plus some and it boasts 6 televisions. The pavilion section of the Rooster can host meetings of up to 100 people. Grab breakfast before your round, lunch in the middle, and dinner when you are finished. Anyone is welcome to enjoy The Rooster during golf, for a meeting facility, or on a whim.
Squaw Valley is open to the public and everyone is always welcome!
